We are looking to add charities that are founded by Penn State alumni or affiliated with Penn State alumni to our network. How are causes added to the network? We analyze each applicant to verify either 501(c)(3) status or are affiliated with another organization that has 501(c)(3) status. In a few cases, exceptions are made based upon other compelling data, such as charities that are below the $5000 IRs threshold.
