Charitable Causes

Success With Honor

Penn State alumni, students, former Lettermen and friends of Penn State are involved in a multitude of diverse philanthropic undertakings. In some instances, individual non-profit organizations have been created and in others, individuals have become affiliated with existing charitable endeavors. As we go forward, this website will be creating visibility for those efforts in several ways:

  • We will be posting contact information
  • We will be sharing through our social media announcements of events
  • We will be featuring foundations in stories
  • We will serve as a conduit between organizations and those looking to volunteer

We have just begun to compile a list of individuals and their causes. This list can grow through your input.

All Paws Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization based in St. Charles County, Missouri. Our mission is to rescue homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats, provide any necessary medical care or behavioral help they need, and then place them into loving permanent homes. All Paws is made up entirely of foster homes, which allows us to better evaluate each animal and place them in homes that are well-suited to their needs and the needs of their future owners. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs) or FIV/FeLV tested (cats), and microchipped before being placed for adoption. In addition to our adoption program, All Paws also offers multiple services to our community, including low-cost spay/neuter services and placement assistance for owners needing to re-home their pets.

These outreaches are designed to help mitigate the intense pressure exerted on them by their peers, society, and the inherent time crunch of taking classes while training for competitive sport. Their vision is to have a believer on every team, in every sport. AIA staff members, such as Neal McNutt, meet with athletes for evangelism, one-on-one discipleship, and guidance on sharing faith with others.
